Flomatik expanded its operations in early 2014 to encompass a broad range of Engineering Services, based from our new 30,000ft2 facility in Birmingham.

The company, already established and well known for our expansive Professional Services capability across the TV, Broadband and Telecommunication industries, now offers a range of Engineering Services to support Next Generation developments. We now provide the services of warehousing, staging, testing, component supply, bespoke engineering, logistics and installation & commissioning, with a 24/7 Network Operations Centre (NOC) facility planned for 2015.

With enhanced, turnkey service capabilities, Flomatik is able to deliver responsive, comprehensive network services for major network operators, their prime technology vendors and largest contracting companies. The service concept is focused on implementations of the latest network technologies, but also addresses the need for increased outsourced (BAU) services and also in-life support services.

2014 saw us building up and integrating this capability and officially on-boarding with some of the UK’s finest companies around, to include Vodafone, Balfour Beatty, Ciena, Alcatel Lucent and WiFi experts, Cloud Distribution – as well as growing our footprint and activities at Arqiva.

Although a little later than planned, we are now realising the fruits of our labour as our pipeline fills up and our work broadens out.

In the coming years we expect Teleste to further consolidate its regional operations to provide a truly pan-European capability as operators continue to consolidate and develop their network infrastructures for the delivery of IP content and make further investments in Deep Fibre, along with increasing the footprint of Wireless.

A dynamic time indeed and I wish to extend my personal thanks to everyone involved in this exciting transformation.
