At the heart of the Flomatik operation is a fully managed health & safety system, which is compliant with the Health & Safety at Work Act of 1974 and subject to external audit and continuous improvement.
With services that span the planning, building and operating of communications networks, Flomatik has also achieved certification under the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) to ensure the safety of our staff, sub-contractors, clients, the public; in fact anyone who might come into contact with our activities.
We empower individuals to make life safer too, by: i) promoting our Safety Improvement approach, which enables all personnel to suggest improvement ideas directly to senior management and ii) encouraging personnel to stop operations immediately if a hazardous condition arises.
Role-specific Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is issued where needed and personnel undertake induction training in manual handling and safety at work, followed by routine reviews to keep them up to date with safe working practices.
To ensure that nothing is left to chance we continually conduct rigorous and comprehensive Risk Assessments and Health and Safety checks, and our record of minimal incidents demonstrates how Health and Safety forms an integral part of our operations, values and culture.
