In a joint collaboration with Teleste, Flomatik Network Services has custom built an FTTH demonstration, training and meeting facility in our Minworth office.
Showcasing Flomatik’s Consult, Design, Build and Operate services, we’re thrilled with our new space and would like to welcome our customers and partners to come and experience the room. The Demo Room displays optical passive components from Teleste and some of the UK’s leading suppliers, Emtelle, HellermannTyton, and Corning. Visitors have access to every element of an FTTH network build including a duct and pole sample of PIA.
Stewart Pert, Account Director said “The initial idea for the Demo Room was to show the tangible build of an FTTH network from a product point of view, but also how each fit together from the duct and street cabinet, right into the home router. We’re really pleased with the finished result. It’s already helped bring to life the fibre infrastructure that ambitious Altnets are looking to plan and build. They’re able to see what’s involved and what passives they need to consider from the outset.”
Contact Stewart Pert to organise a visit and experience the Demo Room. We’d love to see you!

In late 2017, Flomatik was awarded a contract as TalkTalk’s Network Planning partner for York’s Ultra Fibre Optic program.
Having successfully completed an initial build phase in York passing ~16,000 premises, and with a solid and growing base of customers, TalkTalk’s objective is to complete the fibre rollout, adding approximately 40,000 further premises.
Flomatik is supporting TalkTalk’s ambition to be a disruptive and challenging force in the UK full-fibre broadband market. As an experienced planning partner, Flomatik is working with TalkTalk to drive down cost and complexity during the planning and build phases, leveraging the latest Ofcom remedies, planning software innovations and construction techniques.
Following initial consultancy, which helped TalkTalk to develop their technical approaches, plan and specifications, Flomatik is undertaking all network planning works in York and supporting TalkTalk’s build partner in the delivery of a class-leading Next Generation, 1Gbps Ultra Fibre Optic network in the city.
Paul Crane, Head of Ultrafast Engagement and Rollout for TalkTalk, commented: “We are very pleased with the success of UFO in York so far. Our customers are amazed at what they can do with their ultrafast connections – streaming HD TV without buffering, playing games in real time with people on the other side of the world, or simply enabling every member of the family to be online at the same time.”
