The Brief

Incomplete and inaccurate records are a key challenge for UK cable networks. They can lead to difficulties finding and fixing faults, poor customer experience, and unnecessary costs.

Virgin Media’s ‘Knowing Our Network’ programme captures and records the location and usage of all equipment in one central system. When they needed support from a capable team that already understood their network and Business As Usual work, they turned to us.

What we delivered

Many of our people started in network planning and already understanding both the Virgin Media network and the solutions that would make greater visibility possible. As a result, we’re able to provide a full stack of vital skills, from Project Managers to Network Planners and support teams.

Working closely with Virgin Media, we took an incremental approach to the project. From gathering and updating records – including huge volumes in hard-copy formats – to rolling the new system out to Access Planners, we were there to safeguard quality. Today, Virgin has a holistic view of the information it needs to make smart decisions around services, costs and performance.
